Visit to Airbus in Hamburg

When we finished exams, a group of EUROAVIAns went to Hamburg, where they could visit the Airbus Group. Saskia Groth, the person in charge of employment marketing, explained to them the opportunities of doing Internships in Airbus and people who started working there as students. Afterward, David Eyre-Jackson, who is the test manager A350 XWB, talked about the evolution of the structure’s tests which are done on the planes. In addition, he told them which accidents were taken into account in order to improve safety.

But the visit to Hamburg did not finish here. Then, they went to the hangar and they could walk under the A380, which was there in order to equip the interior of the cabin. With them was Marc Tembleque, who was a member of the AS Terrassa and now is working in Airbus Group in Hamburg. All the assistants were very satisfied with this visit to Hamburg!
